Nobody wakes up magically knowing how to lead or lean in.
Societal norms, conditioning, and a lack of women in leadership roles has created a gap in gender equality worldwide.
In order for our young girls to see and realize their full potential, we must first offer to close the gap in skill development.
The time to invest in our youth is now.
Lead[HER]Brave helps to instill confidence and help these young girls learn to solve problems creatively, fostering collaborative abilities and empowering them to shift their perspectives of what is possible in their future.
Giving them opportunity to express their beliefs and communicate their needs and wants.
Giving them the tools required to be successful in proper goal setting and planning.

Terri-Ann just finished up her LeadHERBrave program at our BGC Greater Saint John, South End Community Centre location. This program runs for 12 sessions and focuses on teaching young women the skills and foundations necessary to become life long leaders.
Terri-Ann is exceptional at what she does. It can be very difficult to get teens interested in leadership programs if they struggle with self-confidence or anxiety. However, Terri-Ann was able to come into this group of young women and make them feel so welcomed and comfortable. She immediately had our attention and kept it every session. She is so well spoken and knowledgeable about the lessons she was teaching. I, as a staff member tagging along for the sessions, learned so much, and the young women who participated have also expressed that they feel like they have taken some very important life lessons from this program that they hope to carry with them in their futures.
I absolutely cannot express enough how much we enjoyed running this program and having Terri-Ann bring it to us. She, and this program she created, are one of a kind!
